The Republican National Committee launched a new website Friday to fight for election integrity as the coronavirus threatens the in-person election process in many states. Protectthevote.com showcases the party’s efforts state-by-state to crack down on election fraud after dedicating nearly $10 million last month for the project.
“The RNC and the Trump campaign are aggressively fighting back against the Democrats’ assault on the integrity of our elections. All across the country, Democrats are trying to use coronavirus and the courts to legalize ballot harvesting, implement a nationwide mail-in ballot system, and eliminate nearly every safeguard in our elections,” RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement posted on the site.
GET RID OF BALLOT HARVESTING, IT IS RAMPANT WITH FRAUD. THE USA MUST HAVE VOTER I.D., THE ONLY WAY TO GET AN HONEST COUNT!

She added that the majority of voters, nearly two-thirds, believe voter fraud exists in U.S. elections and say “that fraud would concern them under Democrats’ nationwide mail-in ballot system.”
“Americans overwhelmingly approve of the safeguards Democrats are suing to eliminate like signature matching (84%), voter identification (80%), and a ballot receipt deadline of election day (83%). Voters also oppose (67%) allowing campaign workers to collect mail-in ballots, a practice known as ballot harvesting. Americans deserve to have confidence in their elections, and we will not stand idly by while Democrats try to sue their way to victory in November,” the Chairwoman concluded.
The page slams Democrats advocating for the faulty process and takes direct aim at an important figure Democrats have in their toolbox: Marc Elias, a Perkins Coie lawyer, the firm paid for by the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign and hired by Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on then-candidate Donald Trump and his associates in a now-debunked dossier. Elias is now fighting in some states to allow for an easier vote by mail process.
According to the new site, the Republican party has already made strides in their fight across the nation, including in Wisconsin, California, Florida, and New Mexico, where they’ve challenged unconstitutional changes to each states’ voting systems.
